Children’s groups
At St. Saviours children are valued members of our Church family. The children’s groups meet on a Sunday morning during the service. We have fun together and we worship and learn more about God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. All children need to be registered before being left in their groups. All our leaders are CRB checked. We start our morning all together in church before the leaders take the children off to their groups
Buddies
Pre-school Ages:
18 months - 4 yrs
This group meets in the in the relaxed atmosphere of Glebe Cottage behind the church. There is a time to sing, have a story from the Bible, say some prayers, play and sometimes watch a video. A mid morning snack is provided as part of the routine
Chums
Reception - Year 2:
Ages 4 – 7
These children meet together in Glebe Cottage for a relaxed time of worship and teaching. They follow a syllabus of published teaching material. They have fun & games in their small group and this often involves a parachute. We also have fun outside of church with a trip such as Jungle Jims.
Friends
Years 3-5
Ages 7 -10
This group meets together upstairs in Glebe cottage for a time of worship and teaching. We then have fun and games in our small group. We also meet for the occasional activity jointly with the youth outside of church for activities like snow tubing and bowling.
Baby Buds
Babies 0 – 18 months
The babies Meet in the Community Room during the morning service in a safe and comfortable environment. They have time to play,have a story, say some prayers and sometimes watch a video.
Parents are welcome to stay with babies or children who wont settle . We provide toy’s and drinks to add to the fun.
